Adam was diagnosed with AML when he was just a year and a half old. The treatment path required numerous surgeries and 7 months of chemotherapy as an in-patient. His family are extremely thankful for his life-saving treatment, and feel truly blessed to be able to experience the joy in watching our son grow up to be a smart, kind and healthy young man.
Adam is now twelve years old, he played for St. John Paul's intermediate basketball team last year, and also plays ice-hockey as a forward in the Barrie Minor Hockey League. In the summer, Adam loves to spend time doing water sports such as kayaking, stand-up paddle-board and skim boarding with friends and his 7-year-old brother Michael.
